REMEDIAL WORK

An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) assesses the safety of an installation. Where certain defects or damage is observed, remedial works are required to satisfy the duties imposed on duty holders by the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, designed to ensure systems are safe for continued use.

STANEG offers a remedial repair service for those clients that have had EICR’s carried out by companies not offering remedial work. All electrical remedial work will be carried out in a timely and professional manner and your site will be safe from any potential electrical faults and hazards. Any damage, deterioration, defects, dangerous conditions or areas of non-compliance identified within an installation must be repaired to ensure it is safe, fit for purpose and compliant.

EICR’s identify non compliance only and do not advise on the remedial work required to comply. Our engineers can review the electrical report you have received and put together a remedial work plan that will resolve the issues raised and achieve compliance.

By keeping your systems well maintained, our electrical repair and maintenance work will help reduce the risk of costly future electrical faults and system downtime to your organisation, allowing you to get on with business.
